WATCH: Miraculous boy escapes death by harvester in China

A heart-stopping video of a young boy’s incredible escape from a combine harvester has surfaced online and is quickly gaining global attention. The harrowing incident reportedly took place in China’s Anhui province, and the footage shows the child being hit by the large agricultural vehicle but miraculously coming out unscathed. According to reports, the boy was helping his father dry grain on one side of a busy street when he decided to visit his mother on the other side. The harvester’s wheels missed the boy, and he managed to avoid a fatal injury as the machine passed over him. Last warning to KP governor, ECP to submit replies in provincial polls case

The Election Commission of Pakistan has sought some time from the court to submit its reply in the case of fixing a date for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly elections. The Peshawar High Court issued last warning to the KP governor and the ECP to submit their replies. Also Read: PTI to move SC for appointment of administrators in place of caretakers Appearing in the high court, the advocate general said the caretaker provincial government’s reply is ready. A date for elections has to be fixed by the governor and the ECP, he stated. The election commission then sought time from the court to submit its reply. Italy police find 2 tonnes of cocaine floating at sea

Almost 2 tonnes of cocaine with a market value of more than 400 million euros ($440 million) were found floating at sea off eastern Sicily, in what Italy’s tax and customs police on Monday called a record seizure. The drugs were stored in about 70 waterproof packages, carefully sealed, held together by fishermen’s nets and equipped with a luminous signalling device, the Guardia di Finanza said in a statement. The “peculiar packaging methods and the presence of a luminous device to allow tracking” suggest the haul was dumped at sea by a cargo ship in order for it to be recovered later, the statement added. Monday’s seizure compared with the 20 tonnes of cocaine that Italian police managed to intercept over the whole of 2021, its anti-drugs unit said in figures released last June, stressing that was the highest yearly amount on record. The National Assembly’s standing committee on finance decided on Monday to move the issue of releasing Rs21bn for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa elections in the lower house. During the consultative meeting of the body presided over by Qaiser Ahmad Sheikh in which Prime Minister of Law Nazir Tarar and Commerce Minister Naveed Qamar, Minister of State for Finance, Revenue Dr Aisha Ghaus Pasha and deputy Governor State Bank also participated in the huddle. AJK Assembly to meet today to elect new PM amid divisions in ruling PTI
